| VINTAGE ACCENTS – What’s old is new again. Earth-friendly fibers, such as French-burlap, are everywhere right now. The fabric makes for chic pillows especially when imprinted with a vintage stamp design or family initial. Gray linen is another fabric being used often and is commonly seen with vintage “document” script writing. Vintage couture lamps, especially those with milk glass and natural material bases, drum shades and antique brass finials. Aged, color- washed wood accessories such as candlesticks, urns and bowls are popular as oversized accent pieces. |

WALLPAPER – With a decreasing demand for faux finishes, wallpaper is making a comeback in a big and fashionable way.
TIMELESS ART – Ditch the quick fix, “matchy-matchy” picture. Art does not have to be expensive but it must have meaning to the owner. Buy what you love. Mix mediums and styles. |
ELEMENTAL COLOR – While neutrals have had a strong place this year in primary design elements like walls go for boldly colored accent pieces this season. Brightly colored and/or patterned pillows, rugs and other accessories will help bring your space to life.
SPACE SIMPLIFICATION – There is an emphasis on de-cluttering, organizing and simplifying our lives right now. This is a trend relevant to furniture and accessories as well. Streamline not only the lines of your furniture, but the bulkiness as well.
RUG RAGE – At this time whatever style, shape and design of rug you can imagine is within your reach.
BED BASICS – Neutral colored linens are in, especially when paired with a luxurious top blanket and a clean lined duvet. |

PILLOW TALK – Today’s pillow designs offer an array of textures, colors, shapes and sizes. Accordingly, pillows have become the ultimate interior design accessory.
WINDOW TREATMENTS – Linen panels are incredibly in style right now. The timeless fabric beautifully outlines and softens windows. They are available in a wide array colors to go with any interior.
BRASS – Brass is back but a bit older and wiser. Antiqued brass and antiqued gold have made a big comeback in everything from drapery rods, cocktail tables and faucets to door and cabinet hardware. |
