BECKY BERG DESIGN Contributes to the TOUCHED BY CANCER Foundation Designer Show House

As a contributor to the TOUCHED BY CANCER FOUNDATION, the team at Becky Berg Design had a personal interest in the 2006 Touched by Cancer Foundation’s Show House. The Master Bedroom Suite was dedicated to Becky Berg, who conquered breast cancer some 20 years ago.

The Touched by Cancer Foundation was formed to empower those affected by cancer – either through a personal diagnosis or that of a family member or friend – to embrace life and not accept a cancer diagnosis as a fatal sentence. The Foundation helps provide hope through sharing, education and funding.

The Building Awareness Designer Show Home is the Foundation’s signature fundraiser. Each year a builder provides a newly built home to the Foundation, and local designers, contractors and vendors donate time, energy and materials to decorate the rooms. All proceeds from the home sale directly benefit the Foundation. The home, built by Timberstone Homes, was part of the 2006 HBA Fall Parade of Homes.
