Imagine this space as it was, with a simple gray iron handrail, low ceiling, plain white walls and poor lighting. Now enter into this same space located on the tenth floor of an old Kansas City Townhome on the Plaza.
Recently gutted and updated, this Entry was transformed to complement the architecture of the Old English oak paneling, the embossed plaster ceilings, and the stately fireplace mantel in the adjoining living room. The oak stair parts and warm tones replaced the former contemporary Entry. Now the elevator opens to elegance and style, reflecting the owners' grace and their collection of antiques and art work.
